Landfill Communities Fund Projects
The GBN is an award-winning Environmental Body and has helped fund over 180 local projects in the Calderdale area.
Through projects such as ABLE and its funding of community projects such as the award-winning Ravenscliffe High School sensory garden, the GBN has established an excellent reputation for its 'hands on' approach and its pioneering landfill tax projects. The organisation has attracted more than £1.5 million of landfill tax funding into the area for individual local projects linked to the GBN, from national providers such as Veolia and Biffaward.
